Join us for Mini-Golf Weekend At The Newton Free Library, sponsored by Scholars Golf Club in Auburndale. On Saturday evening October 3rd, and Sunday morning October 4th, the Newton Free Library will be transformed into an 18 hole mini-golf course. Wind your way through the stacks on the second floor, try for a hole-in-one coming down the back stairs, and finish the course in the atrium of the library. Saturday evening is for 21+, and in addition to mini-golf there will be catered food, beer and wine (two drinks included with admission), delicious desserts, and a fabulous silent auction. You can also enjoy music by Elaine Woo and Friends. Elaine is a well known singer around the metro-west and Boston area, and her vocal styles will surely bring back some memories to a lot of people. Sunday morning is for families and children. Enjoy golf, the silent auction, continental breakfast, special treats for the kids by Cabot’s Ice Cream, and a visit from a special friend.
